Hi! i have always lurked around this community and decided it was high time i post, due to the fact that i need desperate help. I had bought the sims deluxe last year and played it a few times, and then put it away. well, i went to play it a few months ago and i inserted the cd and to my surprise it would not work and it is becuase it is severely scratched. i tried toothpaste, purell, everything, and it just doesn't work, it is too far gone. i really would like to have the option to play the sims 2 again, just because, but i don't want to have to bu it again. it is already installed in my computer, and i downloaded a no cd hack from gamecopyworld, but it still won't work. i think i need step by step instructions to install this. if anybody could help me, that would be great :) thank you!!

After a hiatus, my fiancee and I have decided to play World of Warcraft again. We met in game the end of last year and by this past summer were head over heels for each other. In October, he proposed and I (of course) said yes. We had already stopped playing WoW, due to working a lot of hours and trying to move our lives in the direction of being with each other. We've decided to come back but casually.
However, we find ourselves unsure of where we want to go. Currently we're playing horde on a pacific server. However, there are a few issues with this... firstly, we're actually on the east coast. This wasn't an issue when we weren't working a lot of hours. But I now get up at 7:00 in the morning. I can't stay up until 2:30 raiding. Secondly, well.. before we fell for each other, I had been talking to a guy in our guild. We actually joined the guild together. When we broke things off and I ended up with Rob. This guy was pretty upset. He called me a slut and various other things, and eventually after much awkwardness transferred off the server. Well, when Rob and I were on our break, this guy came back to the guild. We didn't realize this until we had re-activated our accounts and started talking to everyone again. We got invites back to the guild.. but after realizing he was still there both of us, me especially, feel nervous about even trying to play with them again.
So basically, we're looking for a new home. We're willing to go alliance. Would prefer to be in a guild that raids times we can handle.. Fridays and Saturdays are the best. Perhaps weekdays, as long as we're done by 10:00. We definitely want to be casual. He plays a 80 pally tank and a 80 mage. I play primarily a healing priest, but also have a rogue and mage alt. Our mains are decently geared. We stopped playing a little after ToC came out.
So basically, I'm asking about any guilds you might be in for us to consider. We're looking for a friendly atmosphere. People to hang out with, joke with, play with, and raid with casually. Some weeks we'll be busy and can't really raid (we live far away from each other, so we travel to each other here and there). But some weeks, we'll be free a lot. It really just depends on whats going on - so I'd like a guild that is alright with that. We'll never sign up for a raid that we can't attend.
Any ideas? :)

It's funny, I've been playing this game since the very day it came out (Nov 23, 2004 - 10th anniversary of the Warcraft Franchise! - ala wikipedia), and for some reason it still has yet to get old. My husband (then boyfriend of one year), actually made fun of me for playing it saying I'd get addicted to it like all our friends and EQ (which I tried but my Mac at the time it the mac version came out couldn't handle it graphics).

But, I didn't care - I had been uber excited about this game coming out as I was already Blizzard fan in that I was an avid Diablo 2 and WC3 player.

When I saw that druids were a playable class I had no problem choosing what my first character would be.

From the first time I saw the intro screen of the NE starting area I was hooked.

About a week after I created my character and set off to explore this new world, my boyfriend comes home with a present for me and hands me the strategy guide, but in his other hand is his own copy of the game. He had no idea what to do so he also created a NE druid and even took my same trade skills. This didn't bother me too much because I thought he'd just get bored with it after while anyway.

However, he changed jobs about that time and wound up with a week break in between where he did nothing but play.

So after making fun of me for playing he not only ended up getting the game himself, but also making the same exact type of character and then leveling past me!

Interestingly, what my then boyfriend and now husband initially thought was going to be a time sink for me and potentially come between us did exactly the opposite and became something we very much enjoyed doing together. We quested side by side from the time he got the game until we hit 60. We even did 40mans side by side, which made for interesting times as we fought for the same gear. (I had far too much fun stealing the shoulders off of Barron Geddon from him by beating him on the roll.)

Hell, the best man at our wedding even put WoW in his toast to us and we received a framed WoW BC print as a wedding gift! So, you could say that WoW has been made a large impact on our lives.

Yes, I am annoyed. Why do you ask?

Every time I want to RP, and you agree, you somehow manage to find a way to get busy. Even when we both say we are bored and have nothing to do. I make a post for us and you post a few times, then go off and RP elsewhere. I don't care about your other RPs, but why would you ask me to RP with you and then go off and ignore me? Taking an hour to tag me back, yet holding a running conversation with someone else kinda hurts.

And then you have the balls to ask what's wrong when I get upset? Dude, it's not like it's rocket science. Why ask me to RP in the first place? Do you feel bad for me?

And sometimes, when I post to your new topics, you still take forever to tag me back. It's never to the extend you post with everyone else. Yet, you always say I'm your favorite RPer. You love to RP with me. Blah, blah, blah. You never show it, anymore. What happened? I've bent over backwards to do stuff for you, and you just brush my things over like it's second rate. If you don't want to RP, then say so.

I totally forgot that Rumble only has Pokémon from generations one and four. So if a evolutionary line was extended in either Gen 2 or Gen 3, the extension isn't there. There's no Mudkip, and the Eevee line is actually missing Espeon and Umbreon. Anyways.



I took my 5 Arboks and Released them, but only got an Ekans ticket, because Seviper is Gen 3. Maybe when the next version comes out?

I think I should just consign to the fact that the only art of mine anyone even cares about any more is my pixel art and not even bother offering any other type of art for commission in the first place. On the bright side I at least enjoy doing them. Of course it would be great if I could get more of those as well, but hey whatever it's a bad time I realise. I'm just frustrated.

and I really am serious about needing a new tablet pen nib, even just one.

Hello! So I am making a strapless dress, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with something. At the top of the bodice, I'm thinking there needs to be something stiff between the lining and the actual bodice. It's not boning, but something else you put like right under the seam allowance? I looked at a dress I have and could tell there was something else in there - like to keep it "up" . Anyone know what this is or what i'm talking about?

Dunno if anyone else much cares for what I figured out when I was fiddling around on my hunter, but I thought I would share anyway. I'm a firm believer in playing the spec that makes you happy(though just don't expect to get into hardcore raids I guess) but I got bored enough to see if I can get the highest dps out put in my hunters measly gear and figured something out. Aspect of the beast is a dps increase. ( Proof behind the curtain )

First time posting here~ ^^

This is Maxwell, or Max for short (aka Maximillian, Maximus, Maxxie, and/or Big Boy :D)...


About 10-11 months ago he showed up outside our porch just meowing and meowing and meowing, so we caved and gave him some food. We kept feeding him and a week or so later, we noticed some other stray cats showing up around the house. Max acted really different from the other stray cats, though. Most of them, if you even so much as looked directly at them they would dart (some of them have warmed a bit to us by now though). Max would rub against our legs, let us pet and hold him, willingly jump into our laps and sit there for a long time. He would greet us every time we left the house or came back. My dad told me that on many occasions, when he would come home from work, Max would jump up on the hood of his truck and them jump inside through the opened window hahaha. Judging from the way he acted towards humans, and the fact that he was neutered, we assumed he might have been someone's pet at some point. There was no collar or tags though, or any fliers or such up about a missing cat. At the time, my sister was living with us and she had a cat of her own (Zoey) so my dad kept saying he didn't want to have two cats (although at that point he basically already DID have two cats, just one stayed outside lol). Eventually we decided we would give Max to my aunt who takes in/cares for a lot of stray cats. We took him over to her house one evening and everything seemed fine—Max seemed to like it there. They kept him inside over night and the next morning when my uncle went into their back yard to get something, Max followed him outside, walking beside him like he just wanted to tag along. Then suddenly he made a break for the bushes and disappeared. We were all devastated! :( We couldn't find him for days. My mom and aunt went around the neighborhood asking if anyone had seen him. After about 3 or so days, my mom went over to my aunt's house to go looking for Max again when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Max came running up to her doing his best pity meow, which sounds more like a warble-y yodel hehe. My mom scooped him up into her arms, Max purring away, and he's been with us ever since! :3
